A mixed gas containing non-condensable gases is being condensed, and I would like to find out the physical properties of the condensed portion. Should I use the total pressure or the partial pressures for this purpose? This post was last edited by jia717 on 2009-4-19 17:33]
Some use total pressure, while others use partial pressure. For example, to calculate the dew point by checking the enthalpy value, partial pressures are used. Check Cp using the total pressure. Let’s clarify the concept first.
