As the title suggests, we conduct insulation tests on transformers once a year now – is this necessary? What are the corresponding specifications?
Regulations vary across different industries; according to **standards or the preventive testing regulations set by the Ministry of Electricity, tests are generally carried out once every one to three years.
There is no need to do it every year; based on practical experience, it is more appropriate and reasonable to do it every 3-5 years.
It depends on the operating environment; the standard requires it to be done every 3 years
