Does anyone here know the requirements regarding the spacing between fire hydrants? Which regulation specifies this? Thank you.
The Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings stipulates that the spacing between indoor fire hydrants shall be determined through calculation. In high-rise industrial buildings, elevated warehouses, and factories of categories A and B, the distance between indoor fire hydrants should not exceed 30 m ； The spacing between indoor fire hydrants in other single-story and multi-story buildings should not exceed 50 m. Fire hydrants, nozzles, and hoses of uniform specifications should be used within the same building. The length of each hose should not exceed 25m.
GB 50160—92 \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\", Article 7.3.17: Fire hydrants in the process unit area should be installed around the unit, with the distance between them not exceeding 60 m. When a fire escape is provided within the facility, a fire hydrant should also be installed beside it.
Article 5 of 8.4.3 of the Building Code stipulates that \"the spacing between indoor fire hydrants shall be determined through calculation.\" In high-rise factory buildings (warehouses), elevated warehouses, and factory buildings of categories A and B, the spacing between indoor fire hydrants shall not exceed 30.0 m ； In other single-story and multi-story buildings, the spacing between indoor fire hydrants shall not exceed 50.0 m. Clause 3 of 8.2.8 stipulates that the spacing between outdoor fire hydrants shall not exceed 120.0 m”
