Does an MSDS have an expiration date?

Our company is a phosphorus chemical enterprise; are the MSDS documents for several raw materials and products subject to an expiration date? Such as yellow phosphorus, phosphoric acid, phosphorus pentasulfide, etc.
1. When a company makes changes to the information included in the MSDS, it should notify its distributors or downstream customers so that the MSDS can be updated. 2. If there are no changes, the MSDS is generally updated every 5 years
It mainly depends on whether the ingredients listed in your MSDS change frequently. If they remain stable, it’s fine to use them for three to five years; if they change often, it’s better to replace them every one or two years. However, companies can also opt to have third-party tests conducted to prepare their own MSDS.
