I first came across the HaiChuan Forum this year; I learned a great deal of knowledge on it and gained a lot of insight. I disagree with the idea that the “sister” ran away in order to gain control over the scoring. Rules are necessary to maintain order; there must be a reason behind the forum’s restrictions on scoring rights. I think it’s mainly to restrict those who want to reap benefits without working. Administrators should reflect on the excessive restrictions imposed on some veteran forum elites (to be precise, forum regulars); without their support, could the forum remain so popular? No! It is thanks to the support of these people that the initiator was able to attract a large number of new members to the forum. I am one of them. The purpose of coming to the forum is quite clear: to obtain what one wants by communicating with others. When I first came to the forum, I was not happy to see so many rules. After coming in, there were continuous ratings from other forum members on my posts, which allowed me to download what I wanted quite quickly. I felt relieved; it turned out that earning points on this forum wasn’t difficult at all, so I decided to stay here regularly. Another thing is that there are indeed many things I need to learn on the forum, as well as many people I need to consult regularly. Although not all the opinions expressed were necessarily adopted, through this exchange, I felt as though the world had suddenly become smaller. A large group of people who could discuss technical expertise gathered around me; I was no longer an isolated individual, and it was the forum that helped me reach the top of that ‘well’. I would advise the administrator not to sacrifice the big for the small – even the smallest gaps in the net can allow fish to get through. I advise my \"sister\" not to do something foolish out of momentary anger; although it’s in the virtual world, it can affect her real life and work, and the consequences will outweigh the benefits. It is something that none of us want to see: some active members of the forum leaving it. After all, the forum is a big family, and every member is an indispensable part of it. But a forum is also a society, and changes and improvements are inevitable. For us, while putting forward our own opinions and suggestions, it is even more important to learn to adapt. My sister doesn’t think she’s special. But there are people who become arrogant just because they bear the title of “doctoral supervisor at HaiChuan Research Institute”. You should know how hurtful the phrase “Come when you want to, leave when you want to” can be, especially on forums. I hope they won’t run into obstacles everywhere in real life. HaiChuan’s current pace of development is truly encouraging. It hasn’t been easy for HaiChuan to get where it is today; after all, it represents the interests of the majority of its users. Any decision that serves the interests of these users is, therefore, the right one. If we are part of this majority of sea friends, then we should continue to share and contribute; if we are not part of this majority, we should learn to adapt and change, so as to integrate into this big family as soon as possible
I just got back from a business trip today and saw such a big thing happen on the forum. Let me share my opinion. My first impression was pretty good. I usually focus on the storage and transportation sector, but I found that its current development situation and future prospects are not very optimistic. To be precise, there are not many authoritative, well-founded, and convincing responses. Simply put, there are too many beginners. Many come with the intention of taking, and few come to give. I saw some replies that were even misleading. I’m not interested in politics, but I am interested in technology. I hope that reforms to the forum will enable more skilled senior engineers to come and check it out regularly.
I agree with what was said above. Although a large number of posts are made on the forum every day, much of them are of low quality; many questions have answers available on Baidu or even on the forum itself. Most, if not all, of the senior members are opposed to this change in scoring system. Realizing that it’s useless to speak out, they choose to remain silent in response. My sister’s reaction was rather extreme; perhaps some of the more active senior members will go underground to continue their activities, while others might switch to other forums. It’s unclear what benefits such a change will bring to the forum, and this is something that the administrators should consider carefully.
My sister had a post in which she supported this change to the scoring system, saying that there would be more opportunities to score on a daily basis; yet today she posted a farewell message in the leisure section, which is really confusing! It truly proves the saying, “The deeper the love, the sharper the pain.” That’s why one shouldn’t be too devoted in love, whether it’s towards people or things.

Why get angry? It’s because she cares about you; how can you be a leader without any sense of tolerance like that?
The user on the 5th floor is also an elder of Haichuan Forum; one should not be too extreme in their words, and priority should be given to the development of the forum. Not to mention that my sister might run away if she hears this, I feel disheartened just by hearing it.

If society represents the majority, then why don’t the superiors or managers of cleaners conduct a public opinion survey? Everyone can vote to decide! Of course, my sister’s departure is a great loss for the forum. I do not approve of her irrational decision; I really hope she will stay. For the sake of everyone’s interests, we can argue based on logic. It’s certainly not what the many forum members, including my sister, want to see if we all choose to avoid taking action
I am deeply sorry about my sister’s departure. There was a time when I took her as an example, hoping to be like her and help more people in HaiChuan, learn more things, and become someone who could contribute to HaiChuan. Although I understand that the administrators’ decision was made with the aim of promoting the healthy development of the forum, it would be better to take the time to consider the feelings of everyone, especially the senior regular members (who are the main force driving the development of Haichuan). Having one sister, or two, three, or five sisters isn’t really a big deal for the forum; however, a sister is just an individual representative, while he represents an entire group. It should be noted that there are quite a number of people who are dissatisfied with this change in the rating system for the forum. The original poster, as well as the moderators and administrators, should consider this as public opinion and listen to it carefully, making efforts to retain everyone’s support and preventing impulsive decisions. After thorough consideration, they should try to persuade everyone and gain their understanding. One should not involve themselves in such disputes, nor should they regard differing opinions as hostile or use them to undermine someone’s self-esteem! Actually, thinking about it the other way around, what does the fact that everyone attaches such importance to this adjustment of the forum imply?
