We would like to ask all friends, if the three-tower tubular acid separator is made of cast iron, it usually lasts for several years. I once encountered that after 2 to 3 years of use, part of the blind head of the acid separator (end near the tower wall) fell off, resulting in uneven acid distribution. Our device has been used for nearly 5 years. Should we also carefully check the acid separator?
It needs to be inspected every two years or so. It is best to prepare a set and replace it directly. For large equipment, based on long-term operation considerations, it is recommended to use an alloy tube trough type acid distributor, which is easy to inspect and requires little maintenance.
I would like to ask if it is possible to easily connect the alloy trough type acid distributor to the old acid distribution main pipe if it is replaced. If the acid distributor is ready, how much time will it take to replace it? If the interface of the tower needs to be changed, it will be a waste of life and money. There is also a trough type acid distributor. Do the claws of the acid distributor need to be buried in small porcelain rings?
What is the current filler height? If it is relatively high, the main filler height can be appropriately reduced. In this way, the main inlet pipe of the acid distributor can use the original pipe opening, and the acid distributor is still suspended by a boom.
Thank you. Our tower is still relatively conservatively designed. The porcelain ring filling height is 4.5 meters. If we use the original main pipe, branch pipes and acid distribution tank, the porcelain ring will have to go down at least 70~70 centimeters.
It should be inspected once a year during overhaul. If there are no other debris in the sulfuric acid tank and there is no porcelain ring attached, it will generally be fine.
The porcelain ring has never happened before, but during the Spring Festival this year, it was discovered that the porcelain ring pressed on the acid separator of the drying tower was washed out with a big hole, and it was probably damaged. Since the car was about to start work at that time, there was no treatment for the diseased operation, so the current indicators are good.
For acid separators, cast iron acid separators can be used in small dry suction towers. The service life is three to five years without any problem. The service life of the dry suction tower is almost the same.
