For highly corrosive mother liquors, high temperatures, and high water, zirconium materials must be used. If the water content can be reduced to less than 5%, zirconium materials may not be used. Many data suggest the use of Hastelloy. It is recommended to check the relevant data. Furthermore, when operating the bottom water, the hydrogen ion concentration is small, and lithium ions must be added to increase the polarization ability of the mother liquor. At the same time, more iodide is added to increase the oxidation of the mother liquor.
