Selection of valve body material for Texaco Process oxygen valves

May I ask whether, in the Texaco gasification process, the valve body materials for oxygen cut-off and vent valves must be Incloy or Monel? Can 316 stainless steel be used instead? Are there any mandatory standards in place, both domestically and internationally?
316 can be used; Monel is heat-resistant and relatively safe, but 316 does not rust, making it another viable option.
