I would like to ask everyone: Our factory has acetylene cylinders, oxygen cylinders, nitrogen cylinders, and hydrogen cylinders, each of which is equipped with a pressure gauge. But the pressure calibration equipment in our factory is oil-filled. Is it not possible to calibrate the pressure gauge on that steel cylinder up there? So what medium pressure calibration bench is used for calibration?
I’m not sure what you mean by “oily and large.” The calibration of pressure gauges generally needs to be carried out by specialized institutions.
The medium used in our pressure calibration bench is 25# transformer oil, and the pressure of this oil is utilized to calibrate pressure gauges.

Therefore, all oxygen pressure gauges must be kept completely free from oil during the production process, and oil is also prohibited during calibration. The calibration devices our company uses for oil prohibition are powered by hydraulic pressure and made by Constat; however, they seem to be expensive. If the cost is a concern, the option on the 5th floor could also work.
The pressure gauges here are instruments subject to mandatory calibration, and they are all calibrated by the metrology and calibration department.

The calibration of pressure gauges is carried out using a precision pressure gauge as a reference. The gauge to be calibrated is connected in series with the precision pressure gauge within the same hydraulic circuit; comparisons are made at each scale mark, and these readings are recorded. Readings are taken for both the upward and downward strokes, and finally the deviation is calculated. If the gauge under calibration exceeds the specified limits, it is not allowed to be used further.

The Metrology Law stipulates that they must be sent to a legally authorized inspection facility with the necessary qualifications for such inspections.
