Today, malicious spamming was detected in both the fine chemical technology exchange area and the information section; I strongly condemn such behavior. I hope that the moderators will take strict action to put an end to these spam posts! At the same time, we hope that those who come to the fine chemicals section to communicate will post more meaningful messages, and a reward system will be in place for reporting spam posts; we encourage active participation. Posting meaningless messages is considered spam! Meaningless reply, considered spam! If more than 5 posts are made in this area within a day, it is considered spamming! Supporting post content – does upvoting count as spamming? What’s the meaning of replies on the second floor? Does that count as spamming? If there are issues that want to be discussed, can’t there be five posts? I like this forum; when I see something good, I want to reply or show my support. The rules set by the moderators are quite intimidating. Such topics should be included in the forum rules rather than being discussed here. Since they don’t relate to technical exchanges, they should also be considered spam!!
It doesn’t seem to me like the poster is intentionally posting spam; they probably just don’t understand the forum rules. Because I had that experience once too; I had just moved up to the third grade and was able to upload materials, which made me very excited. “I can finally upload the files” ； ““Why can’t it be uploaded?” and so on – three posts were made in a row, and I even forgot where I had posted them. In any case, the moderator lost a lot of points as a result, ending up with a negative score. But later, the moderator probably realized they had wronged me and gave it back to me.
It is still recommended that newcomers or those who are not familiar with this field take a look at the rules! Malicious spamming is always infuriating; I fully agree – we should start by ourselves and never engage in such behavior!

Is posting more than 5 posts a day also considered spamming? It depends on the situation, I guess?
However, I think some people’s posting skills are really poor; whether it’s asking for help or starting a discussion, they never make it clear what exactly they want to achieve It’s completely impossible to answer! ! !
If a reply consists solely of thanks, I generally consider it spam and delete it right away! If you think it’s truly meaningful or would like to express your gratitude, please rate it and explain your reason in the comments!
What this guy means is that even for good materials, only a rating is given rather than an approval? If we are to respond, then how should we do so so as not to be considered as posting spam by you? With your statement that such responses are generally regarded as spam, we don’t know what to do. We hope you can provide us with a definition of what constitutes a spam-like response and what doesn’t (taking a reply to a certain post as an example), or at least give us an example. Generally, there is no need to reply to a posted message, unless you can point out errors or other issues in it. Comments like “Great post” or “Thanks to the original poster” – what else could they be if not spam?
