It is located in Yongping Town, Tingchuan County, 70 kilometers north of Baota District in Yan’an City. Throughout history, it has made significant contributions to the victory of the Chinese revolution as well as to the development of the petroleum industry in Shaanxi. Since the reform and opening up, Shuiping Refinery has adhered to the policy of developing the factory through science and technology, focusing on large-scale oil refining operations and continuously increasing its technological level. It has carried out dozens of technical upgrades, gradually evolving into a modern medium-sized oil refining enterprise covering an area of over 40 hectares with assets worth 1.9 billion yuan. The Yulin Refinery of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. is located in the eastern suburbs of Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province, and was established in 1993. At the beginning of its operation, the plant had a processing capacity of 150,000 tons per year for the primary processing of crude oil, and 70,000 tons per year for secondary processing. After more than a decade of development, the plant now has a primary processing capacity of 1.8 million tons per year for crude oil, and a secondary processing capacity of 720,000 tons per year. The factory covers an area of 688 mu, with total assets amounting to 753 million yuan. Its main products include 90# and 93# lead-free gasoline, diesel fuel ranging from -20# to +10#, as well as liquefied petroleum gas. By the end of 2006, the factory had processed a total of 6.07 million tons of crude oil, generating sales revenue of 1.63 billion yuan, paying taxes worth 1.86 billion yuan, and achieving profits of 1.74 billion yuan.
