The difference between pipe flange standards

There are many domestic pipe flange standards now, and some projects now specifically require the use of SH3406 standard pipe flange. So what is the biggest difference between SH3406 flange and HG20592 flange? Under what circumstances should the corresponding flange be selected? First of all, the standard number plate is written wrong, it should be SH3406. And HG20592 refers to the HG20615~20635 part, the American series of chemical standards. All are calculated and rounded based on ANSI B16.5 American flange. The difference is that one is petrochemical and the other is chemical (actually it cannot be used as a distinction). As long as the pressure level is selected, they are interchangeable.
The GG above seems wrong. HG20592 refers to the European system of chemical standards, not the American system! It includes: HG20592-97~HG20614

HG20593~HG20614 are European systems and HG20615~HG20635 are American systems. Maybe you haven’t finished downloading.
Basically universal, just according to each manufacturer* Generally, chemical units generally use HG series, while petrochemical units mostly use SH series. It is best to use the same series in a factory to facilitate future inspection and maintenance.
The former is the standard of the Ministry of Petroleum and the latter is the standard of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. They are both used in the same way.
I think it is better for everyone to choose a series when using flange standards.
