About MSDS

Previously, the company’s MSDS was prepared by the International Trade Department, but recently the task has been assigned to us (the Technical Department). Does anyone here have experience in this area? Why does it seem like there isn’t much difference in the MSDS for these products? It’s all the same, basically toxic, and the treatment methods are also similar? It’s meaningless?
When I worked at my previous company, I was the only one responsible for preparing the MSDS; I simply copied content from various **regulations, informational materials, and the actual practices of the company. This kind of thing works when it’s said to work, and it doesn’t work when it’s said not to work. No one will look at it when they’re not busy ； Something has come up; seeing this thing reduces the burden of responsibility. So when compiling, be sure to follow the requirements and adhere to the format, etc.; it’s not difficult!
Is an MSDS just a modified version of a standard template? What about some of the additives and emulsifiers inside? If the specific details aren’t provided, it’s impossible to look up the CAS number; but if all the details are given, then the entire formula will be known, right? Also, some of the ingredients in the formula are mixtures purchased from others; in that case, it’s not possible to check the CAS number, nor can anything be said regarding their toxicity
If it’s a new chemical, isn’t it still necessary to register it with the **Chemical Management Center? The properties of substances need to be tested and experimented on.
By using a broader range of percentages and only specifying the categories of substances such as ethers or alcohols, it’s possible to keep the formula confidential. The substances purchased from outside can be considered proprietary to the manufacturer; it’s not clear whether some kind of patent or similar documentation is required
