Generally, the nameplate of a container includes: the manufacturing license number, the factory serial number, the container number, and the registration number. However, the last two numbers are often left blank. What could be the reasons for this?
Container number: This is assigned by the user based on the equipment identifier of their own organization, to facilitate management. Registration number: This is a number issued to the user by the local inspection agency for record-keeping purposes. Therefore, the manufacturing unit cannot provide these two numbers
Manufacturing license number on the nameplate – The factory serial number of the manufacturer – The production sequence number or order number issued by the manufacturer, etc. Container number – It can also be the manufacturer’s production order number, etc., or it can be left for the user to assign a number to the equipment. Registration number – The number assigned after the user obtains the certification
