UCC method: This is the silane method used by ASiMi and SGS. a. Hydrogenation: SiCl4 + 2H2 + Si --------- 4SiHCl3 b. Dihydridation: 2SiHCl3 —————— H2SiCl2 + SiCl4; 3H2SiCl2 -------- 2SiHCl3 + SiH4. However, the conversion rates for these reactions are not high, and this method is relatively dangerous.
