I think it’s also a good option as an air preheater, mainly depending on what the components of that exhaust gas are. As for how to make use of it, it should be determined based on actual circumstances. For example, if you need boiler steam in reality, use it on the 2nd floor; if you need to preheat air for other purposes, it can be used for that as well. When it comes to energy conservation, it’s better to be flexible.
Water (mist) can also be sprayed to cool down； It eliminates all the hassle associated with boilers.

I agree with what was said on the second floor; our company also has flue gas at around 650 degrees, which is cooled to 300–370 degrees using a waste heat boiler, and then passed through an electrostatic precipitator!

If waste heat is not to be utilized, common options currently available are water coolers and air coolers.
