It is certain that acid feeding after the pump will affect the amount of acid entering the tower; alternatively, acid feeding after the tower can be used to avoid such an impact on the amount of acid in the tower.

There’s nothing wrong with it; it’s just necessary to strictly control the temperature of the acid fed into the tower. When the acid concentration remains constant, the temperature of the acid fed into the tower affects the partial pressures of water vapor and sulfuric acid vapor above the sulfuric acid liquid level. It’s better to keep the acid temperature as low as possible. . .
Our drying acid has a concentration of 98%; for sucking and drying, we use the same circulation tank.
Generally speaking, for the efficiency of drying flue gas, a higher sulfuric acid concentration is not necessarily better. In terms of concentration alone, 92.5% yields the best drying effect. However, the higher the sulfuric acid concentration, the faster the drying speed. But at the same time, a higher concentration results in more acid foam, and this foam is finer as well. The greater the amount and fineness of the acid foam, the less effective the foam trap at the top of the drying tower becomes, failing to meet the required standards. Therefore, taking various factors into account – namely the need to remove moisture without producing excessive foam – the concentration of the drying acid is generally set between 93-94%. This achieves the best drying results while preventing excessive foam formation. These are my personal opinions; please feel free to correct me.
