This post was last edited by strongerlihe on 2009-12-31 at 16:19. The teacher gave me a copy of Fluent; there are three compressed files: one named fluent.int, and two named fluent61-1. After extracting them, there are four folders: crack, fluent, fluent.inc, and license. There is also another compressed file named fluent61-1, which contains several EXE installation files. I don’t know how to install them; please help me. Is this version too outdated? ?
FLUENT requires: 1) a version of EXCEED 6.2 or higher; 2) GAMBIT 2.2.30; 3) FLUENT 6.3.26. GAMBIT is the preprocessor, and it needs to run on a LINUX system, so EXCEED must be installed first. You can search on Xunlei; there is an RAR file that includes these three episodes.
2# maozechen: Many of them don’t have the necessary resources~~~ But thanks anyway
Resources are available on www.verycd.com. I just downloaded it in the previous phase
When did you come down from upstairs? Thank you for the reply
The version you have is a bit old; my Fluent 6.3 has already expired, haha. It might have more features than your 6.1 version. Now Fluent has been acquired by HYSYS, and it is said to have been upgraded to Fluent 12. I have the 6.3 installation files here; it has many features that are not available in 6.1, such as defining interfaces and converting hexahedral meshes. If you need them, I can send them to you via email. Also, to install Fluent, you first need to install the Hummingbird platform, then Gambit, and finally Fluent. It’s a bit complicated, so be patient. Wish you success, haha
Installation order for Fluent: (Applicable to my own installation files; please refer to this.) Installation order: exceed10.2 -> exceed 3D 10.2 -> Gambit2.23 -> Fluent6.216. Installation steps: 1. Install exceed10.2 and then restart the machine. 2. Install exceed 3D 10.2. 3. Install Gambit2.23. 4. Set the system time back to the correct value. 5. Install Fluent6.316. 6. Copy the corresponding license files for Gambit and Fluent to their respective locations (this step is where problems most often occur)
It needs to be installed under Drive C! Only then can it succeed
6# dongjipeng0302 Thank you, but I have already completed my course project. For various reasons, I haven’t been to Haichuan for a long time; it’s only now that I see your reply~~~
