Correspondingly, the production of certain valves for these applications has also become increasingly domesticized. Let’s discuss the use of domestically produced valves in coal gasification processes within our respective organizations, so as to share experiences and work together for mutual improvement. The content should include the pressure and temperature of the flowing medium, the valve manufacturer, the service life, the damaged part, and the cause of the damage, etc.
For the valves in gasification units, if the pressure is low, domestic alternatives can be considered; however, if the pressure exceeds 4.0 MPa, imported valves should be used for those critical components, as reliability is important
Conventional instruments such as valves, temperature and pressure meters can be manufactured domestically; however, special conventional instruments (those subject to high pressure, high wear, etc.) require importation; For analytical instruments, imported ones have to be used; it’s not about showing favoritism toward foreign products – indeed, domestic analytical instruments simply cannot be used, as the maintenance workload is too great and they often malfunction.
