In JB/T4712.2-2007 \"Container Supports\", Db = D + 2δ. Where δ is as follows: 1. When no gasket is used, the larger of the nominal thicknesses of the cylinder or the head is taken; 2. When a gasket is used, the sum of the nominal thicknesses of the cylinder and the gasket is taken. However, after drawing diagrams accordingly, I found that there is an error of around 1 mm between the measured value and the calculated value of Db. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with my drawing or something else Has anyone who has dealt with this aspect encountered this problem? Please ask
I haven’t drawn it before, so there’s definitely a deviation in this dimension. First of all, when drawing angle steel, you need to pay attention to its rounded corners; moreover, the values specified in the standards are also whole numbers.
It’s drawn so carefully; usually we just indicate the values, and some deviation in the drawing is acceptable
I think it’s a problem with your drawing. What are the components that make up the measured values? What are the components that make up the calculated values? Are these components equal to each other?
Isn’t the value you use for drawing based on calculated values? If the calculated values are used, the drawings generated by the computer should be accurate; it’s possible that your markings aren’t precise.
I have made quite a few vertical leg-mounted devices. If I were to do this casually, I would just follow the standards – it’s a very simple task. However, I encountered the problem mentioned above, though I’m not sure whether this problem actually exists. The calculation is as shown in 1#; when drawing the top view of the device’s legs, one simply measures the diameter of the circle centered around the anchor bolts
Perhaps the original poster uses a different method from ours; when we draw leg-type supports, we first calculate the bolt center distance, and then use this calculated dimension as a reference to draw the base plate, angle steel, etc.
Oh right, that works too. I’ll draw it that way then – simple, with the key data backed by evidence. Thanks! There’s no need to be precise to 1 mm
