Furfural extraction of oil slurry

I need to work on a design for the extraction of furfural from catalytic slurry recently. Since this is my first time dealing with this topic and I have very little information available, I would appreciate it if those with more experience could give me some guidance. Is it possible to conduct simulations at all, given that there seem to be missing binary interaction parameters?
I’d like to learn more about furfural extraction too. Could anyone provide some information? Thank you!

I’m sorry to ask, but does the furfural extraction you mentioned refer to the furfural purification used in traditional lubricant refining?
