Xylene storage tank: 15 cubic meters, vertical design with a dome shape; sealed with nitrogen along with a vent valve. The excess gas is released directly into the atmosphere. The tank is made of stainless steel; no insulation is provided. It is located outdoors and lacks any temperature control mechanism. Temperatures can exceed 40 degrees in summer – is it necessary to use water spraying for cooling? Those with experience in this area please advise

Xylenes refer to mixtures of o-xylene and m-xylene; their freezing point is well below 0 degrees, so no heating is required. As for measures to prevent static electricity: 1. The feed inlet of the storage tank should be located below the liquid level. 2. All pipes and equipment must be equipped with static electricity grounding. Are there any other measures? Is it necessary to control the flow rate? How to control it?
Like the paraxylene storage tanks we use in the south, they generally do not require heating, insulation, or spraying. The freezing point of xylene is -34℃

It should refer to mixed xylene! It has a very low melting point, so no insulation or heating is required. Para-xylene, on the other hand, does require such measures, as its melting point is only 13 degrees
