Neither of these reacts easily with hydrochloric acid; rinsing them in hot water should help remove some of it
Under normal circumstances, they are replaced after two or three years, and need to be regenerated. Starting from the year following washing, the fibers become compacted, resistance increases, and the treatment efficiency drops significantly.
Magnesium sulfate dissolves in water, and our factory uses magnesium sulfate as a catalyst for the reaction!

Is this question about mist capture or acid mist capture? How can we tell if it is calcium sulfate and magnesium sulfate? Sodium sulfate is generally considered to be used for acid mist capture. Furthermore, calcium sulfate reacts with hydrofluoric acid to form calcium fluoride, which is less soluble, while the glass fibers dissolve instead.
Replace. The cost of processing is higher.
If nothing else works, use EDTA. It doesn’t seem worth it.
Change it, bro! We are in the cleaning business, and the cost of cleaning is not low at all.
Is there a better way for this? I haven’t tried hydrofluoric acid yet; I’ll give it a try with hydrofluoric acid
What materials of pipes and equipment can withstand hydrofluoric acid? Wouldn’t the owner need to replace the equipment and pipes first?
