I’m just starting to work with this software, and I have a question: When I use the material property parameters available in HTRI, are the calculations conducted using these parameters accurate? Also, in HTRI, there are two options for representing water’s properties: IAPWS1997 and Previous HTRI. Which one should generally be used? Also, why does the total result obtained by me, when I only enter parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate instead of the Weight fraction vapour, differ from the results obtained by others? Is it a problem with choosing the HTRI material properties? I’m using version D of HTRI 5.0, thank you!
Actually, it should be posted in the “Heat Exchange Calculation Simulation Area”. Hydraulic separation Previous HTRI. Weight fraction vapor is the mass ratio of gas in the material. If no value is entered, HTRI calculates it based on a fully liquid condition. Therefore, as long as there are gases in the material, their proportion (by mass) must be indicated here.
I calculated an example yesterday and uploaded it; there’s also one calculation done by a foreigner. I’m wondering why such a big difference exists – could you help me analyze it? Thank you

The HTRI5.0 calculation fails to be performed; I’m not sure which data field hasn’t been filled in – it’s difficult to learn this! It would be great to have an explanation or Q&A platform so we can understand it quickly!
