The specific report is as follows: Since May, the construction of the Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins project, which has attracted considerable attention from the industry, has been progressing smoothly. Recently, Shenhua Group organized an engineering quality and safety inspection team to conduct a comprehensive quality and safety audit of the Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins project. The inspection team was divided into five specialized groups: the process welding group, the equipment group, the quality and compliance group, the civil engineering group, and the electrical and instrumentation group. Safety inspections are certainly a good thing, but they should focus more on practical aspects; one shouldn’t just pay attention to the formality without delving deeper to identify problems.
I’m in Shenhua Baotou. Regarding fire safety, inspections have been carried out several times before, but the requirements weren’t met and corrections were needed!
There have been too many deaths due to safety accidents in China in recent years; manufacturing companies need to seriously examine their safety issues.

I work at Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical.
