Hello, OP. For a fiberglass chimney 80 meters high, I recommend using an external steel frame structure; stability will definitely not be an issue. I just completed a project in Guizhou where the chimney was 80 meters tall and 2.4 meters in diameter, with a three-tube tower (three legs); By concrete chimney, do you mean one with acid-resistant lining applied directly to concrete, or a concrete sleeve with fiberglass chimney? I do not recommend this approach if acid-resistant bricks are to be used on top of concrete, as many clients modify their newly built chimneys into sleeve structures before they have even started operating them ; The way acid-resistant bricks are applied to concrete chimneys is really unsatisfactory; over time, acidic liquid still seeps out from the foundation ; Therefore, fiberglass chimneys for steel structures are highly recommended.
