Because the reaction kinetics models in HYSYS are mostly built-in. Previously, I used Aspen, for which the code was written in Fortran syntax for file reading; however, in HYSYS, I couldn’t find any option for reading files. Please **help me answer this question. 1) To write kinetic equations or other models in HYSYS, C++ is required. 2) If you are an authorized user, it is recommended that you seek technical support from the software company! 3) Alternatively, you can use VMGSim; this software is very similar to HYSYS, but it makes it easy to write reaction kinetic equations without the need for any programming language
Both VB and VC++ can be used, but VB is more commonly employed for writing extensions. If you have excellent technical skills and a solid knowledge of chemistry, you can achieve any effect you desire.
