Which equation should be used for the calculation of alkali solution heating simulation
The NRTL model – the original poster might want to give it a try; otherwise, an electrolyte model might be necessary
The absorption tower and regeneration tower for decarburization using hot potassium alkali solution have been calculated. The ELECTRIC-NRTL model was used, and the performance of the absorption tower is excellent. The actual operating results of the device may not be as good as the calculated results.
I think the NRTL method mentioned by LS is better; if ions are involved, an electrolyte model should be used, but it seems that such a model has to be purchased. . .
