Could the sailors tell me whether there is centralized control in the recycling workshop? (There are no control rooms in each work section; only one control room exists in the recycling workshop.) What is the actual operating situation like? Where are your engineer stations usually located? In offices or in the production area?
Apart from large coking plants, there probably won’t be many.
Centralized control is provided in the office area; in the event of a centralized fault, manual adjustment can be made on-site. Regular inspection and maintenance, combined with centralized control, works very well.
The newly designed systems should all be under centralized control; they are not located in the office area, but rather in a dedicated control room, which is usually situated near the blower room, thereby highlighting the importance of the blowers.
There are many companies that manage things in this way; it doesn’t matter where they are located. The blower is controlled virtually entirely at the site.
The fan control room is located at the end of the fan room; there are control rooms for crude benzene, anhydrous ammonia, and desulfurization. One control room is situated next to the company’s dispatch room, and there is another control room for utility systems
The chemical product recovery system is monitored and regulated by a DCS control system; on-site inspectors carry out routine inspections, while the blower room is controlled by a PLC. All data is uploaded to the company’s central control room for monitoring, but not for regulation.
