Is it necessary to burn some fuel gas for the GSP furnace to operate normally? Can it be avoided? This expense is quite high
I think that if coal feeding is successful and normal production is achieved, that route of fuel gas should be able to be eliminated. Another question is that there is also a certain temperature required for igniting the coal powder fed into SHELL’s system, around 800 degrees. This is why SHELL uses diesel as the fuel for the starting burner; could there be problems if GSP were to use fuel gas for ignition? Additionally, the particle size of the coal powder used in GSP is larger than that used by SHELL.
