However, my supervisor wants to know the wall thickness of these elbows. I’ve seen numerous posts on forums that explain the calculation formulas for this purpose. Given the large volume of work involved, I would like to ask if anyone has a conversion table that allows me to quickly find out what the wall thickness is for specifications like DN480 SCH30 Thank you! ~
Hello, the original poster. There is such a table, but it doesn’t have the 480 mm pipes you mentioned. It seems that DN480 pipes are quite rare. I think it was probably designed separately by your design institute; therefore, you can ask the design institute directly. They use different standards when designing pipes, so there might be some discrepancies in the conversion of nominal wall thicknesses. It is specified in the standards for steel pipes. It’s already very common now. As for DN480, it doesn’t have it. It should be DN450; 480 is the outer diameter.

Of course there are. The copy I have is almost unreadable from all the use I’ve made of it. It should be included in regular piping books; consultants can look for it
