Our company is a chlor-alkali chemical enterprise. When it was built, great attention was paid to the corrosion protection of the steel structure; a system comprising 2 layers of rust prevention, 2 layers of impermeability protection, and 2 layers of corrosion resistance was adopted. It has been 6 years now, and the results have been excellent. Some chemical manufacturing companies pursue short-term gains; they typically apply 2–3 coats of paint, lack an effective anti-corrosion strategy, and do not select the appropriate paint based on the level of corrosion. As a result, anti-corrosion measures have to be taken every 1–2 years, which leads to significant waste and increases safety risks.
Could you specify the name of the coating used for corrosion protection upstairs? And briefly explain the construction plan or process.

Alkali plant facilities generally use epoxy red lead anti-rust primer, epoxy limonite intermediate coat, and epoxy anti-corrosion topcoat； Corrosion prevention is a systematic process; some factories simply do not have the necessary conditions for it, yet they still waste money on designing zinc-rich primers when the rust beneath cannot be properly removed ； One wants to ensure good corrosion protection, but keeps cutting costs by purchasing the cheapest anti-corrosion coatings. When the coating isn’t applied properly, work starts too quickly, resulting in severe leaks. The paint that has just been applied gets damaged due to corrosion before it even has a chance to cure. For corrosion protection in chemical plants, it must be done properly from the beginning; otherwise, if problems arise and repairs are needed, those repairs will have to be carried out repeatedly!
