Our company uses two columns for distillation, but recently there has been an issue: orange flocculent substances have appeared in the effluents from the bottoms of column 1 and column 2. We don’t know what they are; could someone help us resolve this problem?

I suspect that there might be a leak in the heat transfer oil tubes, which is why red flocculent substances are appearing; you should check your heat transfer oil system.
We use steam for heating, and there is no water leakage
