Why does the cyclone separator have two level gauges, and why do the levels indicated by these two gauges differ?
Is there one set for on-site use and another for remote transmission?
Yes. I have designed them. There is one for remote control and one for local use
Both are similar to flap-type level gauges; I was wondering if it’s caused by some special structure inside the cyclone separator? Maybe one of them is broken; I’m not sure
Is a gas-liquid separator needed?
It’s possible that the pressure at different points is different, as varying wind speeds result in different pressures. Why is a level gauge installed in a cyclone separator?
A cyclone separator is used for gas-solid separation; then why is a level gauge installed? What does a level gauge measure, namely the level of something? The poster is probably referring to a hydrocyclone or a hydraulic cyclone.
Remote and local readings often differ, which is why a local measurement is provided; when the two readings are not consistent, the local reading should be taken as the authoritative one. It's just my personal opinion, for your reference.
All I’ve encountered are systems for separating solids from gases; I’ve never seen any that require the installation of a level gauge. Please, the original poster, share a picture so I can take a look. Thank you
