Energy is an important material foundation for the development of national economies, and the development and utilization of energy as well as the maintenance of energy environmental security are among the strategic priorities of concern worldwide. To achieve the goals of the third phase of China’s development strategy and bring per capita GDP to a level corresponding to moderately developed countries, energy consumption is set to increase significantly. Moreover, the energy structure, which is dominated by coal, will remain unchanged for a considerable period of time to come. However, 80% of China’s coal is still used through direct combustion, resulting in low thermal efficiency, increased environmental pollution, and a heavy burden in terms of energy conservation and emission reduction. To overcome the disadvantages and shortcomings of traditional direct combustion methods, the generally accepted approach nowadays is to use gasification combustion. Therefore, please discuss the most suitable gasification technology for fuel gas.
The most suitable gasification technologies for city gas production are the Ruhr process pressure gasification technology and BGL. It has a relatively high calorific value.
The most suitable gasification technology for city gas is the Lurgi pressure swing gasification technology, mainly because methane has a high calorific value
At present, to address the main sources of pollution caused by fog and smog, as professionals in the energy sector, we should focus on eliminating the direct combustion of 80% of China’s coal, and make breakthroughs in this regard. I argue that the discussion on the most suitable gasification technology for fuel gas should mainly take place here. We believe that the issue of utilizing coal fuel resources in our country should be addressed and developed based on the concept of energy efficiency. It is also proposed that the quantification of efficient and clean utilization of coal fuel resources should be calculated as follows: Q praktikal coal energy / (Q total initial coal energy + Q total energy consumed in the coal utilization process) = maximum. Additionally, (B pollution emissions from coal utilization + B total emissions from pollution control measures) / B total initial pollutants from coal = minimum. A comprehensive and scientific assessment and management system is necessary; traditional technical concepts and current technical standards, which focus only on efficiency while ignoring benefits – such as the total energy consumed in the coal gasification process and the total pollution emissions resulting from resources used in pollution control – should not be adopted. Otherwise, this will lead to high consumption, high operating costs, additional pollution generated during pollution control, and negative outcomes for users. The carbon molecule vaporization combustion technology we invented achieves the goals of prevention at the source, reduction of elemental content, and efficient utilization of coal resources. This is just a starting point; I encourage everyone to engage in active discussion.
Pollution issues are indeed of utmost importance
