It is mainly composed of quick-opening blind plate, cylinder, reducer, saddle bracket and other parts. The installation of the receiving and transmitting barrel is divided into two forms: ground installation and underground installation. Underground installation requires a launch silo, and it is inconvenient to install the receiving and transmitting barrel and load and unload the pig, and is no longer used. When installed on the ground, the receiving and transmitting barrel is horizontal, and the center height from the ground is generally about 1 meter. It is connected to the underground pipeline through short pipes and elbows. It is not suitable to use diagonal cross connections. Otherwise, the pig will be easily stuck. The receiving and receiving ball cylinders are placed horizontally, and the diameters of the receiving and receiving ball valves should be equal to the inner diameter of the pipeline being cleaned. The receiving and sending ball ports and the oil inlet (air, water) ports are connected to the main pipeline through valves respectively. An air defense valve, a safety valve and a pressure gauge should be installed at the upper end of the quick-opening blind plate of the sending and receiving barrel, a drain valve at the lower part, and oil inlet and outlet (gas, water) valves on the side, so that the medium from the main pipe can be taken as the power and output medium to drive the pig.
The sending and receiving ball cylinder is used for sending and receiving cleaners during pipeline cleaning.
It is generally used when purging pipelines and is an essential part of long-distance pipelines.
