For homopolymers, they’re all more or less the same; the key lies in copolymer products. Nowadays, abroad, succinic acid and diether catalysts are being used
Sinopec mainly uses Oda’s DQ series, as well as HDC. It’s okay. The one from Yingkou should be CS-2; I’ve used it before – it produces a lot of fine powder. I’m not sure if there have been any improvements to it now.
Domestically produced catalyst fine powder is abundant but has low activity. Of course, when producing homopolymers, the properties of the product remain more or less the same; the only difference is that more catalyst is used, which gives an advantage in terms of cost. However, when manufacturing high-impact copolymers, the properties differ. It still needs improvement.
We are currently using CS2 from Yingkou, and indeed there is a lot of fine powder

The CS2 in Yingkou has a higher level of activity. Oda has lower activity but better isotacticity
CS-2 performs well. As for the issue of fine powder, I think it’s a control problem rather than a catalyst issue; when we use CS-2, the amount of fine powder is very low
The CS-2 produced in Yingkou has an excessive sensitivity to hydrogen; under the same hydrogen content, it has a higher likelihood of chain scission, resulting in more small polymer molecules and thus more fine powder.
