Can liquefied gas be used for the initial drying of the gasifier?

Liquefied gas is used for the initial heating of the gasification furnace. I recall that someone mentioned during previous discussions that the calorific value of liquefied gas isn’t sufficient, but I couldn’t find any information on this in the existing documents. I would like to ask the experts: is it acceptable to use liquefied gas for the initial heating of the gasification furnace?

Sure, as long as there is enough quantity, it’s no problem.
The heating efficiency of LPG is high; manufacturers with substantial financial resources start using LPG from the very beginning.

1# wyh1971: If it is a regenerative gasifier (one using refractory bricks), liquefied gas can be used; whereas in the case of a water-cooled wall gasifier (shell-type coal gasification), liquefied gas is used for ignition, while diesel is used to start up the system. Please ask experts for their guidance~~~
LPG has a high calorific value, which is why its price is a bit higher.
