I am currently learning to use the Aspen Plus software for simulating reactive distillation processes. I am from East China University of Science and Technology; could that kind-hearted senior student provide me with some relevant materials? My email address is hejin1860@163.com; Not very grateful! :)
There are many resource-sharing areas; you can look for them on your own. Also, do some searching – there are quite a few requests of this kind. Make full use of the forum’s resources; if you encounter difficulties while downloading or need help, feel free to contact me via private message. . . .
Okay, thank you! 2# kent0801

I’m also learning *reaction refining; let’s share any good resources!
Sure! Add me on QQ: 123566954, 5# happyzhou1982
I am also simulating reactive distillation; I’m not sure whether the original poster is working with batch or continuous processes?

1# hejin1860 I have carried out some simulations of reactive distillation; feel free to contact me if you have any questions, *aohaiyi8080@yahoo.com.cn
OU is also from ECUST; it provides several links to relevant materials: an example of Aspen simulation for reactive distillation at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=183607; the process design and operational optimization for the synthesis of methyl acetate using reactive distillation with ASPEN at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=83686; an example of ASPEN PLUS simulation for TAME reactive distillation at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=433862; and some common mistakes when using Aspen for reactive distillation simulations at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=411066
I have also carried out simulations of reactive distillation; if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at dflei@163.com. In fact, when performing simulations, for reactive distillation compared to ordinary distillation, all that is needed is to include the reaction equation; if it is a reaction governed by kinetics, then the kinetic parameters need to be entered as well. Otherwise, it’s the same as ordinary distillation
