There are many manufacturers of static mixers in China. If no high level of mixing precision, pressure measurement capabilities, or special designs are required, there are numerous suppliers in Ningbo and Jiangsu; their products are very inexpensive and most of them are standard equipment. For applications such as mixing materials with different viscosities, gas-liquid dispersion, mass and heat transfer, as well as washing and evaporation, domestic solutions may not be sufficient. I once saw the technical specifications for a device in China, where all parameters were given as ranges – for example, the pressure drop should be less than a certain number of Bars, and the CoV should be less than 0.5, etc. People outside this field might have misunderstandings regarding CoV (Coefficient of Variation); the value of CoV directly affects the mixing efficiency, but the criteria used to determine it vary. It’s a rather interesting topic. Without knowing the standard for CoV, the results can differ significantly.
