I agree with what was said on the second floor: magnetic pumps must not be operated without load or in reverse; even for a short period of time, this can lead to unexpected failures.
It’s hard to say exactly how many seconds it takes; sometimes problems can occur even after 3 seconds. In my opinion, just stop trying once the goal is achieved – there’s no need to keep trying for an extended period of time.

If the motor and the magnetic pump cannot be separated, a water test must be conducted, as the eddy current heat generated during the operation of the magnetic pump is carried away by the fluid. Without fluid, this heat cannot be dissipated, and the magnetic pump will burn out in a short time.
Strictly speaking, it is not possible to run the pump without any load, as the main form of lubrication for magnetic pumps relies on the medium being pumped to lubricate the bearing components
Method for testing the forward and reverse rotation of a magnetic pump under no-load conditions: Before powering on the motor, remove the fan guard and rotate the magnetic pump shaft by hand; once this is successful, reattach the guard and supply power.
