What is the fundamental difference between sh3408 and gb/t12459-2005 (other than the fact that one is a standard for the petrochemical industry while the other is a **standard)? Both sh3408 and the GB/T12459-2005 standards include an appendix titled \"Table of Wall Thickness Classes for Seamless Steel Tubes Connected to Fittings\"; however, the actual wall thicknesses corresponding to the same thickness class differ between these two standards. How do people determine the wall thickness when selecting tubes? For example, for a DN200 pipe, what should be the wall thickness of a PN2.5 seamless steel pipe?
**Standards and petrochemical standards are essentially defined with reference to foreign standards, with minor adjustments made. The wall thickness of pipes should first be calculated, after which a wall thickness grade close to it should be selected from the wall thickness grade table. The wall thickness of pipes with the same nominal size can vary under different operating conditions.
Should the standard be chosen according to the uniform regulations for the projects carried out, in order to select different wall thicknesses? Of course, calculations must be done first!
