I would like to ask under what conditions the MTBE catalyst should be replaced?
The MTBE catalyst needs to be replaced under the following conditions: (1) when the purity of MTBE decreases, and increasing the inlet temperature to the reactor yields no significant change. (2) The conversion rate of isobutylene at the reactor outlet decreased significantly. (3) Adjusting the operating parameters of the catalytic distillation tower and reactor did not result in any improvement in the quality of MTBE product.
The most important things to consider are the conversion rate and changes in temperature.
