Product material: cast steel, etc. Structural features and applications: 1. The valve cover packing chamber of this product features a water-sealing structure; when water under a pressure of 0.6–1 MPa is introduced into the connection, it enables isolation of the system from the atmosphere, ensuring good airtightness of the system. 2. It features a dual-panel, bidirectional elastic seal, enabling flexible and rapid operation with reliable sealing. 3. The product features a simple, compact and rational structure, is easy to maintain, and has a long service life. 4. When used as a opening/closing device on pipelines, it must be in the fully open or partially open position; it cannot be used for regulating flow. 5. The valve connection types are flange and welding, while the actuation methods are manual and electric. 6. Water seal valves are suitable as opening and closing devices for pipelines with a nominal pressure of ≤10.0 MPa and an operating temperature of ≤425°C, where the working medium is water, steam, oil field fluids, or non-corrosive gases; they are particularly appropriate for the vacuum condensation systems of steam turbines in thermal power plants.

If used in a flare system, the water seal valve enables switching between the flare gas recovery system and the flare gas combustion system, combining the advantages of water seal control and valve control.
