Key technical points for converting top-mounted coke ovens into tamped coke ovens: 1) First, determine the elevation of the coke pushing track, the actual elevation of the bottom of each carbonization chamber (taking the highest value as reference), the elevation of the media support plate, and the elevation of the coal tower discharge opening； 2) Determine the coal bin width based on the actual dimensions of the carbonization chamber on the machine side ； 3) Determine the size of the side-loading coal tank based on the effective dimensions of the carbonization chamber ； 4) Determine the number of tamping units (number of hammers) based on actual needs. 5) The height-to-width ratio of the coal briquettes should not exceed 15:1.
