Regarding valve leakage rate

Is there anyone who can help explain how the leakage rate of valves is determined? What standards are used in China for this purpose? Are there any corresponding American or European standards? Please explain in detail under what conditions the flange leakage amount you are referring to applies; generally speaking, leaks at flanges are not allowed.
It mainly refers to the leakage rate under test conditions; in particular, interest lies in the soft seals of ball valves, butterfly valves, etc., as well as the metal seals (under pressure).
I’m sorry; I just realized my mistake. (Despite the reminder from Guanwutang,) it’s the leakage rate of the valve, not that of the flange.
