The cooling circulating water system of the existing production facility requires chemical cleaning and passivation before operation. The system holds 150 tons of water, and its materials are carbon steel and copper. The quality requirements comply with the general specifications in HG/T2387-2007: the system must be free of rust and oil, and properly passivated; the copper sulfate passivation test should show a result of more than 5 seconds. Additionally, the corrosion amount must be less than 72 grams per square meter, and the corrosion rate must be less than 6 grams per square meter per hour. Some people are offering 35,000, some 80,000, some 50,000; one company is offering 110,000, and another is offering 28,000. Please have an expert estimate a reasonable price that ensures quality!
Since we’re talking about the budget for cleaning costs, machine cleaning is definitely necessary; usually, we charge based on the area. For example, the condenser is calculated based on its heat exchange area.
No equipment is required; only chemical cleaning and passivation are needed.
The prices vary by several times – isn’t there any industry-standard price range?

So I’ll reply to the person above: Indeed, prices in this cleaning industry vary greatly due to differences in quality, and industry standards are merely a reference. If we were to follow the standards set by that original poster from 2007 for the inspection process and results, then even a price of 110,000 wouldn’t be sufficient to carry out the work.
