Who can tell me why the molecular sieve adsorbers in Anqing’s air separation plant are started first, when the feed compressor hasn’t been started yet – where does the gas come from?
Should we first experiment with the switching program?
It merely activates the control logic first, and the corresponding valves will open or close. In this way, once the air compressor starts, the air can flow directly into the molecular sieve.
Start directly? Is it just a dummy procedure for testing purposes? The pressure needs to be equalized before starting the molecular sieve.
It should be the control logic that is in charge of this process: once the compressor has finished starting, the molecular sieve will create pressure according to the programmed sequence, and the corresponding valves will be opened, allowing air to be sent to the cold box. In my opinion, such a procedure reduces the workload on the operator relatively, as they only need to take care of the compressor and the subsequent processing steps.
The molecular sieve is started for: (1) running the procedure and (2) debugging the valves.
It seems that molecular sieve is first regenerated using process gas for later use; could the molecular sieve in Anqing have temporary regeneration gas?
