Does anyone have information on the production process and investment estimates for a space furnace-based facility that can produce 200,000 tons per year of methanol using Texaco as a feedstock? I really need this information, thank you.

Talk to a few more design firms and you’ll understand. Is it still meaningful to produce 200,000 tons of methanol these days? There’s no need to waste resources on amounts below 600,000 tons; an investment of around 1.6 billion would be required for everything to be new
