Water quality for feedwater to the drum in dry gas hydrogen production units

I have a question! Hydrogen production units need to inject steam into the furnace tubes; what are the quality specifications for the water used to generate this steam? In particular, what level should the chloride ion content be controlled at?
Our foreign clients for hydrogen production equipment require less than 0.1PPm. Our company requires the following for furnace water testing: sampling location, analysis parameters, and control limits. pH: 9–11; phosphate: 5–15 mg/L; chloride: ≤4 mg/L; oil (in heat exchange with oils): ≤1.0 mg/L
Chlorine content in deionized water: % < 0.00005; Oxygen content in deoxygenated water: μg/L < 50; pH value of boiler water: 9–10.5; Total solids content in boiler water: % < 0.05; Conductivity of boiler water: μs/cm < 200; Conductivity of steam: μs/cm < 10
The chloride ion content is generally kept below 25 ppm.
It varies from place to place; in our case, it’s less than 0.5
Use thermoelectric desalinated water, with a strict requirement that chloride ions be no more than 3 mg/L
